Attribution Guidelines

QUODD Financial Information Services, and its affiliated entities, including but not limited to Xignite, Inc., (collectively, QUODD, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the http://www.quodd.com website (the “Service”).

 

Attribution Statements

If your agreement requires that you provide proper attribution in your applications, the way you should attribute QUODD will depend on your application.

These sections provide instruction on where and how to display the attribution according to your application type and the nature of the data it uses.

Mobile App Placement

If your application is a mobile application, you should place the recommended footer attribution statement in the footer of every page or screen on which you use the Xignite market data.

Alternatively, since screen real-estate can be limited on a mobile application, you can display the attribution on the “Information” or the “About” screen of your mobile application and on the download or app marketplace page.

Web Placement

If your application is a mobile application, you should place the recommended footer attribution statement on all pages where you use or display Xignite market data.

Inline attribution example

Analytics / Internal Functionality

If Xignite market data is core to the functioning of the application or website, but not visible, you should place the recommended footer attribution statement on the "About" page of your application.

Note that the actual content of the link depends on which data your application uses.

Note that in all the cases below, it is not the product name that is hyperlinked to our web site, but the type of data you display. There are no requirements as to font style, size or color. The text should be legible to a normal user and when associated with other licensing information, it should be of equal prominence.
