Equity+ MarketMonitor offers the capabilities
and power of a professional market data workstation
in a standard Web browser. It turns a Web page into
a dynamic, real time quote terminal, providing a configurable
system that emulates many of the characteristics of
a professional trader workstation. Equity+ MarketMonitor
can be accessed via an Intranet or via the Internet
to reach clients and employees anywhere.
Equity+ MarketMonitor is a user-configurable standard
Web page real-time-enabled with QUODD’s proprietary
technology. Since Equity+
MarketMonitor is an HTML application, it can be accessed
from most browsers. The front-end is built using standard
HTML, therefore IT departments can also easily build
their own custom MarketMonitors and applications with
little time and effort. No business logic is necessary
since that all resides on central servers.
Equity+ MarketMonitor allows the configuration set up
by the user to be saved to a database on a centralized
server, which allows the user's configuration to be
available from any client. All aspects of the configuration
are saved including portfolios, news filters, and stock
selection.
