Equity+ MarketMonitor utilizes templates
so that users can easily customize and modify their
MarketMonitors with minimal effort. Equity+ MarketMonitor
templates are designed to be easily configurable by
the user so as to allow extensive customization of the
layout and content residing on the MarketMonitor.
Each MarketMonitor template consists of between 8 and
10 resizable frames, which can be saved for later use.
Note that a frame is defined as single window within
a MarketMonitor. A discussion of each type of frame is
provided in “MarketMonitor Content Frames.”
1. A pre-configured
MarketMonitor comprised of pre-defined content items.
For example, a DJIA MarketMonitor will consist of 8-10
frames with the DJIA stocks as well as charts and
scrolling news related to these stocks.
2. A “generic” MarketMonitor where the user
can select from several generic templates or layouts
and customize with the content they desire.
There is no limit to the number of
MarketMonitors a user can create although the user has
the option to designate one of their MarketMonitors as
the “default” MarketMonitor, which will then
be used to greet the user each time upon successful
authentication.
Once a user’s MarketMonitor is configured, the platform
is designed with a simple interface, taking advantage
of standard HTML capabilities.
