Management Team

Dennis Cassidy
CEO

Dennis has worked for 35 years in the financial services industry as a senior executive responsible for information, data and communications technology and brings extensive technology management, design, development and delivery experience to QUODD.   Most recently, he has served as the Senior Technical Consultant to the CEO and CIO of the NASDAQ Stock Market.  Prior to that engagement, Dennis was the CIO at Tucker Anthony Sutro until its 2002 sale to Royal Bank of Canada and before that held a similar position at McDonald & Co.   Dennis is well known among the community of potential QUODD clients and brings to the company a deep knowledge of the financial services industry’s requirements for quote systems.



Keith Savitz
Founder, Chairman

Keith is a high energy entrepreneur who brings a strong background in sales, marketing, and finance to the Management Team.   With 10 years experience in financial markets, Keith has a broad knowledge of the securities industry as well as the products and enterprise solutions utilized by financial institutions to support the needs of investment professionals.  Keith’s last position was at Morgan Stanley, where he spent 5 years as a Vice President of Investments.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, Keith headed up the West Coast Division of National Direct Marketing Services, a national sales and marketing firm, successfully growing the branch from 15 to 75 employees during his four years as President.  Keith’s experience overseeing all business operations, in addition to his knowledge of how to coordinate organizational expansion with growing product and service demands, will play a major role in QUODD’s ongoing success.

Angie Oaks
Founder, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Angie brings a strong institutional background and comprehensive internet perspective to the QUODD Management Team.  She was a Senior Associate with Montgomery Asset Management (MAM) for 5 years, working specifically with institutional clients, investment management consultants and prospects across all investment disciplines.   At QUODD Financial, Angie’s responsibilities include acting as chief liaison between the development team and QUODD’s clients and partners, managing all vendor relationships and exchange relations, as well as training and overseeing QUODD’s customer support staff.  



John Tong
Co-Director of Technology

John's career includes experience with system and software architectures including extensive software development expertise in designing and developing large scale distributed applications.  In addition, he has worked closely with upper management in many start-ups and Fortune 1000 companies, assisting them with the development of their web infrastructures.  Before becoming QUODD’s Co-Director of Technology, John worked at eBay helping to integrate partner systems and build internal development tools.  Prior to eBay, John was the senior project manager at an internet consulting company where he oversaw all facets of software development.  John's responsibilities included day-to-day operations issues and recruitment of new developers (growing the development staff from 4 to 40).  While there, John designed and constructed many web solutions, including a custom built application server for Critical Path.  John also worked at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), as a Senior Consultant for the telecom industry.  While at Accenture, John helped create a Usage Processing system for a global satellite telecommunications company.  Before Accenture, John’s software development work ranged from designing prototypes of defense systems at Texas Instruments to General Ledger applications and Student Information Systems.  John holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Math and brings over 15 years of software development experience to the company.



Andy Katz
Co-Director of Technology

Andy has extensive software development and consulting experience in environments where time to market, budget and quality issues are critical.  Before becoming QUODD’s Co-Director of Technology, Andy was a Senior Technology Consultant with Sage IT Partners, where he was responsible for designing and implementing web-enabled solutions across a broad array of vertical markets including manufacturing, sales, and finance.  Before joining Sage, Andy was a Senior Consultant with Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting) specializing in the telecommunications industry.  Andy led development efforts for several telephony billing applications, where he oversaw requirements definition, object design, data model design, and testing strategies.   Prior to this position, Andy was an Associate with Arthur Andersen & Co, SC where he participated in the development and production support of an internal worldwide accounting application.  His client list includes Pacific Bell Telesis, Motorola, Netscape Communications, Charles Schwab, Wyle Electronics, and Pacific Gas & Electric Energy Services.  Andy holds a BS in Mathematics and Economics and brings over twelve years of IT and consulting experience to the company.



Dennis Morgan
EVP, Sales & Account Management

Dennis has over 25 years experience in the financial market data industry.   He has held various Senior Management roles within the Market Data Vendor community in Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, Project Management and Application Development.  Most recently, Dennis was President of SunGard Market Data Services Group (SMDS), formerly Bridge Information Systems and ADP PowerPartner.  Dennis has in-depth experience with the various "Quotation Vendors", their "Thick" desktop applications and "Thin" Internet client product offerings.



Jim Hohorst
Director

Jim has 25 years experience in global financial markets, having worked with Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Manufacturers Hanover, First Chicago and American Express.  Jim’s last position, at American Express, was as Head of Global Trading for American Express Bank, where he oversaw all of the bank’s trading activity in 20 locations around the world.  Jim had heavy involvement throughout that time with technology, both as a user and developer of information systems.   At First Chicago, Jim spent two years as the Head of Capital Markets support, which included Quantitative Research, Systems and Operations for the bank’s trading activity.
